Wassup.MyBlog.SG is now MyBlogSG.com

Successfully migrated this WordPress MU blog to a standalone WordPress blog on a different Web server.

Here’s how to migrate WPMU blog to a WordPress Standalone.

1. Export existing blog to WordPress eXtended RSS or WXR format

2. Install WordPress standalone and import the WXR XML file

3. Install Redirection plugin on WordPress MU blog and set up redirection to new blog

I will still need to keep the old blog because the images are still stored at the old server.

iPhone 3GS Bluetooth Function Crippled

I was disappointed to find out that the iPhone 3GS bluetooth function is crippled. This is the first phone with bluetooth which I owned that is not connecting with my PC. I have used Nokia and Sony Ericsson bluetooth to connect my PC and backup my phones. With iPhone, the only way is to use the USB cable to connect to your PC. [More…]

Got my new iPhone 3GS on Saturday after queuing for more than 5 hours at Singtel Comcenter. This is my first iPhone, in fact, the first time in my life to own a smartphone. Within minutes of owning this phone, I was already making calls and sending MMS of a picture of the crowd outside Comcenter.

My M1 Mobile Broadband contract will expire in 2 weeks’ time and I was told there will be no more 50% discount on the price plan. That’s as good as telling me to switch to Singtel or Starhub. Just got an email from Singtel on the new launch of the iPhone 3GS price plan on 10 Jul 2009. The Singtel iPhone plan is no diffferent from the existing iFlexi except for the new iFlexi lite.

Got an SMS from Singtel at 3pm announcing that the iPhone 3GS will be launched on 10 July 2009 in Singapore. More information on the price plans and upgrage options will be available early next week.

I was invited to the MSI X-Slim X340 launch event at Vivocity yesterday. The organizer of the event was giving away a brand new MSI X340 and there was probably 50 people at the Serenity Restaurant, Vivocity. The lucky draw was the main reason I went. My Vista Died so I Installed Ubuntu

In less than 6 months of using Windows Vista on my brand new VAIO, Vista died one morning and refused to boot because it detected a hardware error.
